The Paintball Team has had a busy Spring semester. The team took 3rd at the Texas A&M Open in February. We are currently preparing for our April trip to Nationals in Lakeland, Florida. Texas A&M is going into our final tournament ranked 3rd in the Nation with hopes of a good weekend in Florida.

The TAMU Paintball Team will be hosting a recreational paintball day on Sunday, November 21st. The atmosphere will be relaxed and non-competitive. Anyone (including non-students) is welcome to come out and play some paintball. The event will be hosted by the new, local field only 10 minutes from the TAMU campus: Zoomz Paintball.

The day will start at 12pm, and we will be playing until dark (about 6pm). Feel free to stop by at any time to play a few games. The field has a variety of packages and paintballs for any budget. For more info, check the Zoomz Paintball website, the Facebook event page or TAMU Paintball forums.

After a long day of paintball in Dallas, White line managed to go undefeated through prelims, and Maroon line finished prelims 3-1. White line took home 2nd place, and Maroon line 4th place.

The TAMU Paintball Team travelled to Troy, TX to compete in the first conference tournmanent of the year: the Baylor Open. Despite weather delays, Maroon line went 4-0 in prelims and finished 2nd place overall in finals.

The TAMU Paintball team will have a table at MSC Open House this Sunday, September 5. Come by the table to talk to team players, see some of our gear, and find out more about joining the team.

Hello everyone,

It's about time to get this ball rolling again! I can't begin to explain how excited I am at the amount of potential the following year holds for this team. If you're a returning player: welcome back and congratulations on being a part of the best season TAMU Paintball has ever had.

If you're new to the team or are looking for more information, you've come to the right place. This forum is how the team communicates with each other. Checking back regularly to the forum is the best way to stay informed about future happenings within our organization.

Upcoming dates to put on your calendar:

September 1st - First practice in READ 404 6-10pm
September 5th - MSC Open House at REC Center
September 8th - Open practice for all open house attendees READ 404 6-10pm

Dues for the team are $175 for the year. This includes air and weekly indoor reball practices, equipment costs associated with these practices, and entry and some expenses to the NCPA National championship at the end of the season.

Superb fundraising from last year has allowed the team to purchase 6 new bunkers, and 1500 new reballs. This year holds great things for us, it's time for us to go and make it happen.
